  Solo City Traditional Antiques Market
One of the traditional markets around Mangkunegaran Palace is Windujenar Market or as known Pasar Triwindu  In this market sell a wide variety of antiques. It's really an antique because not all places sell that same goods.

If you are interested in ancient or antique items then hunt for a bargain in this market is very precise. But you should know is the price of goods in this place is not a fixed price so you should be able to bid or at least ask your guide.

Tips for buying goods in this place is, do not immediately show interest in an item but behave like just want to look around. Also offered while passed, it means not to bargain while waiting for an answer merchant. Walking around around and then when the trader is no longer lower the price mean it is close to the price anyway.

Besides the palace, the environment surrounding the palace could be the place to visit because of the uniqueness lies precisely on the surrounding environment.

The houses around the palace formerly home to "Abdi Dalem" that is the king's servent, but over time, many were converted to house residents. Well, here a lot to offer home stay relatively cheap cost.

If we want to know the culture Solo, it is living in this area is highly recommended. But ask for advice to guide so you can get a cheap but clean and safe home stay.

Friendliness of the locals will make you miss and want back someday.

The most expensive public transportation tariffs in the world

Indonesia Tourism, Solo tourism info, solo city info

Did you know Boeing 777 Dreamliner aircraft, or the Airbus A380 as the largest aircraft in the world? Did you know the fastest express train in the world? Did you know the largest and most magnificent yachts in the world?

What is the mode of transportation was the most expensive in the world? How about this one?

In some cities in Indonesia such as in Solo, there is a public transportation which according to the author is most expensive in the world, namely rickshaw.

Why are most expensive in the world? because it uses human power to run it. So for a distance of about 1 km, you will be charged at around USD 1.1 or USD 10 thousand means that a distance of 1000 km will cost USD 1100 or USD 10.450 million.

Obviously you will not be planning to travel 1000 km with these transportation modes. Unless you want to be recorded in the Museum's record.

Public Transport Suggestions

As a suggestion, to locations in Keprabon is about 10-50 meters from the main road Slamet Riyadi. You can just walk away and when you arrived on Main Street You can just choose a bus transportation, taxi, angkot, becak

Bus
Economic bus (non air-conditioner) with a rate of Rp 2 thousand, bus with air conditioner with a rate of Rp 3 thousand and Batik Solo Trans (executive) rates to Rp 3 thousand. All rates are valid far and near, which means that if our goal is much the same rates apply when we are near the goal.

Taxi.
Almost all taxis in the city of Solo to use metered, I recommend only using the air  meter taxi. There are many taxis as Kosti Solo, Central Taxis Solo, Solo Taxi, Taxi Crown Solo, and Solo Taxi Gelora.

2 name of the taxi fleet mentioned earlier is the longest operating in Solo at the same time that we recommend
.

Angkot
Angkot is public transportation by car mini van.
You can quickly identify the color orange or yellow. Rates are valid far or near is Rp 3 thousand.

Becak
Becak is tricycle transportation by human power. If you just want to go not too far, walk or use a becak is the choice. But the becak fare relatively more expensive because it uses human power. So you must be smart to bid and bargain half price the rickshaw driver. And bargaining is before you boarded becak.
