Surakarta Hadiningrat Palace

Solo City has 2 palaces, which until now, although activity was still limited to the cultural activities that is Surakarta Hadiningrat Palace and Palace of Mangkunegaran.

Surakarta Hadiningrat Palace is headed by a king with the title Pakubuwono while of Mangkunegaran Palace is headed by a king called Mangkunegoro.

Both palace is a cultural heritage that still must be maintained as a witness to history and also a major tourist destination in the city of Solo.

Inside the palace there are many relics that can tell the history of the past although not as much as formerly. From these relics we can imagine what a great power of the two kingdoms are owned in the past. The powers include the government, culture and social and religious.

To enter the palace we will be charged a fee ranging from Rp 15 thousand or U.S. $ 1.5.
To be able to know the story of each heritage, available guide that will help tell the history of each object we see. There are no official rates for this guide but it ranges from Rp 25 thousand or U.S. $ 2.5
